LIFO® Training Helps People Manage Their Strengths

LIFO® Training focuses on strengths -- on what's right about leaders, teams, and individuals. It begins by identifying each person's basic orientation to life and work. Based on this information, it offers powerful learning strategies for greater personal productivity, increased influence with key people, and more effective teamwork.

Leadership

Effective leaders exhibit certain skills that differentiate them from people who do not lead as effectively. This program teaches four fundamental sets of skills that must be mastered in order to be effective as a leader. These skills include both leadership skills and management skills because one cannot lead well without also managing well.

Team building

Teams identify specific strategies for moderating their excesses and extending their work styles to incorporate the productivity factors they tend to overlook. They then create an action plan that utilizes what they have learned to accomplish a specific, work-related goal

Communication

Bridge the Communication Gap gives individuals and teams the skills they need to recognize what's important to other people and to translate their requests, proposals, and instructions so that they will hear, understand, and act on them.

Productivity

Quality, quantity, economy, and acceptability -- these are the four fundamental factors in individual and team productivity. The five strategies taught in Break the Performance Barrier with LIFO® Productivity Skills give individuals and teams the skills they need to keep the four productivity factors in balance for sustained high performance.

Coaching

In our Performance Coaching Training Program, you will learn how to help clients formulate and implement realistic performance improvement plans based on two fundamental strategies:

Doing more of the behaviors that they tend to overlook or neglect, so they can achieve their goals more easily.

Doing less of the behaviors that they tend to overuse, so they stop wasting time and alienating others.

Utilizing a quantitative approach to managing strengths will increase your clients' acceptance of your recommendations and increase their confidence that they can succeed
